French Toast - gluten, grain and dairy free

Reinventing a classic breakfast with a "real food" twist. Our version of French Toast makes for a nutritional and sustaining start to any busy day.

We've made this with our Date and Walnut Bread but it would be equally as delicious with our Sunflower Seed and Raisin Bread

Directions:

Whisk together an egg, a tspn of cinnnamon and a dash of vanilla extract in a shallow dish.

Melt butter or coconut oil in a frying pan on a medium low heat

Dip sliced bread into prepared mix being sure to coat both sides evenly

Place in preheated pan

Flip once slightly toasted and golden on the bottom side, repeat on the other side

Serve drizzled with chopped banana, drizzled with maple syrup and or any old topping you fancy
