Date, Walnut and Banana Bread

We just love it when you guys get creative with our mixes.

The talented foodie, Mel from @freshhealthyyum whipped up this delicious creation using our Date and Walnut Bread mix.


Mel followed the instructions on the pack and used:

  • baking powder
  • coconut oil
  • brown rice syrup
  • 2 Tblspn chia flour as egg replacement 
  • 2 bananas 
  • 1 cup water

She blended everything together.
Poured into a tin, popped a halved banana on top and sprinkled it with a handful of chopped walnuts and a 1Tblspn of coconut sugar
Baked for 1hr at 180 degrees

Note: If you are happy to use eggs, (2 eggs) reduce the water content to a 1/2 cup.
